Mother's Day Treat
We hosted a Mother’s Day BBQ yesterday and I decided to do something special for dessert.
Vanilla cake with fresh strawberry butter cream icing topped with homemade chocolate butterflies.

One of my friends nick named me “Nola” - short for granola.

Splurge
Most of the furniture in our house are from Craigslist, hand-me-downs, or picked out of the trash and refinished. And I like it that way. But in October ‘08 we moved into our house and went without a couch until a few months ago.
