Splurge

Most of the furniture in our house are from Craigslist, hand-me-downs, or picked out of the trash and refinished.  And I like it that way.  But in October ‘08 we moved into our house and went without a couch until a few months ago.  We finally splurged on a fabulous chocolate leather couch from Crate and Barrel and the only thing needed were fun throw pillows to match.

A few weeks ago I purchased (on sale) some beautiful fabric from Purl and couldn’t wait to get started.

I took advantage of my mom’s amazing sewing room and sewing talents Easter weekend and we spent Saturday evening putting together these wonderful pillows!
